Quotes of the Month

"Listen, I was talking to Tommy and I said, you know, I need to get back to Wisconsin. He said, you sure do. I said, do you know your way around there? So he and I have gotten on this modest little bus here. And we're going to travel your beautiful state. "

"I'm here asking for the vote. I've come back to this important state to say to the people of Wisconsin, I know what I need to do to lead this country. I know what I need to do to make the world more peaceful, America more hopeful. I know what I want to do to make America safer, stronger, and better. I'm here to ask for your help for four more years."

John Kerry has more positions than the Packers.

"In a new survey, CNN says 47 percent of the people they interviewed did not know that the America fought the Germans on D-Day. You know what you call those people? The French."

Support Bush, not Kind, Kerry

by Gary Arneson, Third District GOP Vice Chairman

To win the election this year at any cost, Rep. Ron Kind and Sen. John Kerry say President Bush "lied" about weapons of mass destruction in Iraq. Intelligence services around the world reported Saddam was developing weapons of mass destruction and was a threat. The Russians said it, the British said it, President Clinton said it, Kerry said it,Kind said it.

President Bush was one of the last to say it. But only he is accused of lying, by those who now forget they said the same thing.

We didn't require iron-clad proof that Adolf Hitler had an atomic bomb before Franklin Roosevelt started the Manhattan Project. We couldn't take the chance.

Had Israel not launched a pre-emptive strike on an Iraqi nuclear power plant in 1981, casualties in both of the Gulf wars might have been horrendous.

Shameless election-year rhetoric by Democrats about the president lying about weapons of mass destruction has convinced Iran and North Korea to continue their nuclear programs. Sensible people would do all they could to prevent that. President Bush has.
